Wi‑Fi QR code generator

Guests scan it and they're online. No typing the password.

How it works

Share your Wi‑Fi with a QR code

Stop spelling out long Wi‑Fi passwords. Enter your network name and password, and you get a QR code that joins phones to the network as soon as they scan it with the camera.

It's ideal for homes, cafés, offices, Airbnbs and events. Print it, frame it or stick it on the router. The code is made in your browser, so your Wi‑Fi password is never sent to us or anyone else.

How to make a Wi‑Fi QR code

  1. Enter your network name

Type the Wi‑Fi name (SSID) exactly as it appears on your devices, including capital letters and spaces.

  2. Add the password and security

Enter the password and pick the security type. Most routers use WPA/WPA2/WPA3. Tick Hidden network if your network doesn't broadcast its name.

  3. Download and print

Download a PNG or SVG and print it. Scan it with a phone once to check it connects.

Why use a Wi‑Fi QR code

  • One scan to connect

iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and Android phones (Android 10 and later) join straight from the camera app, with no extra app needed.

  • Private by design

The code is generated on your device. Your network name and password never go over the internet.

  • Works with every router

Supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA3, older WEP networks, open networks and hidden networks.

  • Make it yours

Match your brand colors, add a logo and choose a background, then print it on a table card or sign.

Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a Wi‑Fi QR code?

Open the camera on an iPhone or Android phone and point it at the code, then tap the notification to join. On older Android phones, use Google Lens or the QR scanner in Quick Settings.

Is it safe to make a Wi‑Fi QR code here?

Yes. The code is created entirely in your browser and your password is never uploaded. Keep in mind that anyone who can see the printed code can join your network, so use a guest network for public places.

What if I change my Wi‑Fi password?

Make a new code. The password is stored inside the QR code itself, so an old code stops working when the password changes.

Which security type should I choose?

Choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for almost every modern router. Choose WEP only for very old equipment, and None for open networks without a password.

Does it work for hidden networks?

Yes. Turn on Hidden network so phones know to look for a network that doesn't broadcast its name.
